Greetings from France 🥰. Congratulations. 😱 All My purchased coats and shirts are all hills and valleys. It's pretty embarrassing to wear these so I have a long scarf to hide the horror. I am gonna try this on one of my shirts by undoing the zip and remake it. Super interesting . Thanks Professor for all these great sewing tips. My trick is to guide the fabric to the sewing line without pulling it against the sewing direction, even if the fabric is stretchy. And try to sew it as straight as possible or you'll get ruffles instead. No pins because they will "bend" the line. But trust me, its harder to do than to speak, double the struggle by non traditional sewing machine. :)

I use press on pellon / interfacing at least 1.5 inch width ,it gives the front a beautiful flat n smooth finish ,especially when using stretchy materials
