Website hacking, I don't know about how it links to bank account. But about monies disappearing from bank accounts in Nigeria. I experienced this, this week. My domiciliary account was wiped out. I called my account officer and however before evening, it was reverted.

This is really not matching up from the IT Point of view. I watched the Video VDM did when he explained how data pulls up from a special phone he specifically bought for the purpose of updating transactions details on the website. There is no direct integration of the bank account to the website. I suspect something very fishing about this, especially with the timing of the broadcast from VDM

What is the connection between SSL certificate and moving such a huge amount of money from a bank? A website can be hacked and that is where having an SSL certificate becomes very necessary but this issue is about moving money from his bank account which has to do with the bank security and not his fucking NGO website. My M&T bank, Bank of America and Capital one bank sends me an alert immediately requesting to know if I made any transaction that is just a few hundred dollar's and if I respond with a "Yes" then the transaction will go through but if I respond with a "No", such transactions won't go through and the debit or credit cards linked to that bank account will be automatically blocked and a new card will be mailed to me within 5 business day's. His website getting hacked has no corelation with his bank account except his bank account was hacked which has nothing to do with his website rather it exposes the security weakness and lapses of such mediocre bank that allows such huge amount to be moved without alerting the account holder immediately for confirmation and approval through MFA's via a text or email before such transactions can be effected. The bank is the culprit if truly #180, 000 000 suddenly disappeared from his NGO bank account. A hacked website has nothing to do with a missing money in a bank account.

As a BackEnd Dev, for me this is not adding up. This website doesn't directly handle transactions. No payment processing, no direct banking link. So, how could such a platform be the gateway for a grand theft? Imagine a fortress with no gates; how then could the treasure inside be plundered?

I think this all a prank. He must have consulted cyber security experts all this while , especially as so many people have strongly counseled it!The online website account does not translate into a BANK account!! Hacking can only change or distort the number codes and cannot offload any money securely lodged in the bank. If anything can be done to the money, it has to be from inside the bank!

I am a senior Software Developer, data scientist and senior Blockchain developer too. The claim of VDM on this is fallacious, the 2 principal suspects are VDM & his developer... The NGO payment gateway can only be exploited if the developer exposed the API keys which is not possible, if that can happen then nobody would put a dime in the bank account as it would be hacked in every EKE market day. So VDM is either joking or doing something else. VDM has been doing a good job but on this matter he is not saying the truth..
