I read an article about this team experiencing a sudden and violent flood that occurred after heavy rains. They only barely made it to higher ground. The photographer lost a lot of equipment, but they all survived.

@Hanuman_3 жыл бұрын
I listened to an interview with that photographer and he went to to detail on the story, terrifying stuff. Came here to learn more.
I did too!!! I read the same article and now, I CANNOT FIND IT FOR NOTHING!!!!’ After I came across your comment I went looking for it. And I hunted for 45 minutes to an hour and I finally gave up because I just can’t find it!!! The funny thing is the only reason I found it before is because I remember a few months ago I watched a couple of videos on here about the second deepest cave. And, I discovered it on Google because I googled the deepest caves in the world. And I came across, oh, about 4 to 6 different articles with many, Many absolutely stunning!! Pictures!! With, links to other stories / articles. And 1 of those articles, had a good in-depth story about the part of a cave / the cave that flooded. And, they barely made it out alive!!!!

@Tore_Lund5 жыл бұрын
Not a walkie-talkie, they are phones (two wires) like a military field telephone but special in that they use higher voltage for the transmission of the audio signal, not to have excessive losses through a kilometer long wire. They are made diy from circuit diagrams circulating in the caving community, so entirely home built.
