Love the focus on helping the artists with the business side! Would this be a great opportunity for artists who are not yet known, or ALMOST there, just need the boost to leave with a better plan ahead of them? I'd love to be one of your residents, but I'm pregnant at the moment 😅 it's something I'm looking into for the the future though!

Wonderful video, I've been dreaming about opening my own artist residency for a pretty long time now, but even if I've been searching everywhere about the topic (also given the fact that I would completly start from ground zero, and that my studies don't collide with art even a bit) I've never found anything as explenatory and helpful (and honestly encouraging) as this video. Have you ever thought about making more videos concerning the dynamics behind starting and susteinig such business? And have you ever thought about creating a space where artist residency owner/hosts and aspairing ones can talk and share expierences and ideas? I personally think it would be amazing and that would bring the beautiful art residency world to the surface. Thank you so much for this video, hope to see more in the future!!

I only learned about residencies a few days ago. It sounds like a fantastic opportunity for artists. I have two questions. How does the host profit? Is it conceivable for an artist to be hosted if they are not single?
