Lovely work. I use my DIY Self balancing board with VESC hardware in it, as my main daily transportation vehicle. I trust it!

is your board an EUC och onewheel?

@@jawedhakimi79 its a DIY onewheel, works like an EUC but looks like a skateboard :)

Great Video Benjamin, as usual, but two thoughts I had: - Your "Gram to Newton" conversion is not that accurate. It should be more like >0.0098< I presume it does not matter that much in this case. - I think the tip of your measurement area should not be inline with the loadcell, but rather be horizontal. If you apply force further or closer to the measuring resistor, the reading should be different.

Hi, I also noted, that hey, G is not exactly 10m/s2, however 2% difference is not that much either.. You are right, that the measuring cell is in reality measuring bending, which is dependant on the force arm length. However Benjamin checked linearity for the cell, so if that check was using the same contact point then it is probably also just a small deviation. But still I would have rotated the measuring cell 90 degrees about Z axis, so the effective arm length would stay the same along the contact line. Keeping the thing compact, probably just simply making the contact point a small sharp tip is easier but still better.

are the keyboard arrows supposed to control the motor in vesc tool? I just get clunking noises

hi benjamin! nice work! im using your controller in braking mode as active rectifier for generator, can i contact you somehow, to find out what should i optimise to obtain best efficiency?

Is there someone who can explain me how I can use Erider T9 torque sensor in ebike with vesc controller? Do I need to connect gdn, 5v and torque to adc1? How can i callibrate?

I love how tiny the whole rig is. After some point due to saturation and magnetic field harmonics, the torque starts to get more and more non linear, and this simple formula no longer applies. It can be described only by complex differential equations.
