Such a beautiful display of emotions to be put out by a musician as it speaks about the death of his mother! The cello is the instrument that is most like the human voice so I think it does justice to the original singer's voice in this case. The music compares to anything classical as well.

I’m not a Beatles fan ( not a hater, just sort of indifferent to most of their music due to way over played couple of songs on the radio), but you sweet lady make all music a blessing to listen to. There is something seriously magical in your playing that turns everything you play gold! You have played a number of songs that I was not a fan of or simply had no interest in, and made them so much more to me! This song of the Beatles is one I do like but the way you played it once again had that magical touch of yours that once again made me “feel” the music, bringing out emotions again. You are literally the only person who has ever done that! I named you the Cello Queen long ago and you exceed that with every piece you play!! Now I am renaming you the Magical Queen of the Cello!! A long time ago i was feeling down in the coffee house just right close to Sophia University in Tokyo. Ali of sudden, the Beatles' cello music started playing. I stepped into a big musical shop in Ginza next to my English conversation school to purchase a CD having this song. Teacher-----You might be making an English story of the past that only shows the bright parts. Only by facing the sadness can we overcome the past.Just as Katherine Graham did toutch her sadness in Chapter Fourteen in her remarkably nice her Personal History autobiography.
