I bet 80% of the SI (performance) problems are solved with a pump. Can you test a pump (Hardi 13312 e.g.) with the standard SI vs. COSA vs. the tuning voodoo?

Surely the high flow rates of these tests, FAR exceed the actual running consumption, so of no relevance as the fuel chamber will always be full anyway - and 1cm of fuel covering the lower exit hole might be enough. Otherwise if these extreme flow rates were actually required, my full fuel tank would hardly get me to the end of my road....lol.

its more likely that fuel chamber is mostly empty at full throttle and or highend tuned engines most of the time. carb was designed for 3 wheel hp back than (tiny chamber never changed) nowadays 25hp are pretty easy reachable. thats 8x (!) the power the carb was originally designed for thats at least an argument for. better MORE than enough fuel. for this cropped compromise carb. as it still is. to be named correctly.

I bow to your knowledge - I missed, if you were talking about vastly uprated performance scooters only - and not my 2015 PX125 CAT, with the basic uprate to a miserable 9 HP and running full throttle always. Cheers. @@FreakMoPed8
