Thanks! Yes, I prefered to go wide because it was cold and I don't trust the tires, I looked up to see if there are any cars comming. Sometimes I prefer to go wide if possible rather than to lean mode and risk sliding.

Rev-matching, WHEN down-shifting, seems to be a lost art. I mean, twisting the throttle AFTER the shift really doesn't qualify, does it? No criticism implied !! The Rally is in beautiful shape and the scenery is superb - a PX owner/rider for 30 years - VNX, VLX and VSX

With the rally you have no choice, if you don't rev match you risk blocking the back wheel. Enjoy your PX my friend!
