I use the uberlite and the vesper 32 for warm weather. I have slept quite comfortably down to 40 with my vesper. I love the simple design. Great job covering all the details....👍🏻

Thanks for the great review! I purchased this quilt because we have similar weather up here in PA at the beginning and end of summer where you need more than a blanket but less than a sleeping bag for those chilly nights. Looks like a very comfortable sleep system!
@SeniorHiker77 Жыл бұрын
I sold that Vesper to my brother-in-law. I now use a thermarest summer blanket in the fall, spring, and a 10° quilt for cold nights.

I love my Klymit V insulated and it’s good for our winters here in Alabama. I use it in a double layer hammock as well as a tent. Mic works great!

I'm hoping to get by this winter with the non insulated one. I do have the 30" insulated but just a little to heavy. 👍

Senior Hiker 77 lol, the only thing I can teach anyone is how to build a United States Aircraft Carrier. Having a cell phone, camera or a video recorder is frowned upon, it against rules. A lot of top secret stuff in a Carrier. Maybe you’ll enjoy a video of quilting. lol

Senior Hiker 77 I started working there when it was known as the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company. I started when the USS CVN 73(G. Washington) was being built. I installed the Pneumatic Release Pilot Value. Layman terms, I installed the automatic and manual sprinkler system in magazines on Carriers.

The mic sounds good.. I got the Rode Go wireless only because I did not want to be tethered with the wire. I also am a Klymit fan.. Have not tried a quilt yet but who knows... 👍😀

Outdoor Vitals only included one pad strap with the 0 degree quilt I bought from them. So maybe it is a common practice.

UGQ does the same thing. I'm pretty sure one strap is industry standard.

That sleeping bag seems really nice! I would like to buy one. By the way, when surfing AliExpress I found out strange tents similar to lanshan1 and 2. The seller is called “Longsinger” As usual, the manufacturer seems to copy its design of American tents. I’m wandering whether I purchase them or not.but information on this manufacturer is hardly found. I would like to know your opinion about those tents.
@SeniorHiker775 жыл бұрын
I took a look at Longsinger tents and my experience with Aliexpress has always been positive. I prefer 2 vestibules but for $99 take a chance.
@mickmick-zo6yz5 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for giving me your opinion such a short notice! I am considering buying “BASALT”made by Longsinger.but it’s little more pricey than lanshan2(^ω^)Maybe I should buy a 4 season inner tent of lanshan2 additionally.

Klymit is my favorite also. I'm sure that the termarest is a decent product, but my problem with thermarest was the way the company handled the problem Dixie had. A product is only as good as the company behind it and I don't have thousands of followers to get them to exchange a defective product that cost $200 . So My money for now is on the Klymit!
@SeniorHiker774 жыл бұрын
Right now Klymit 30" pad is for me. I've had good luck with Klymit customer service, haven't had to deal with Therarest yet.
