I've been an Unholy DK main since Wrath. The spec has had its ups and downs over the past decade, but the rework and the Riders of the Apocalype Hero talents have got me pretty hyped.

Im pumped to tank BDK again just so i can off spec frost and unholy lol - all looks great! Blood plays great. I think blood is gonna be perfect - I dont really push super high keys (12ish range max) - and do heroic raid - so i think it'll be perfect

I think if you took one point out of improved festering strike and put it into vile contagion (which would kind of act as a replacement for apocalypse) you'd do way more dam with bursting sores and get your festering scythe up way more. Or perhaps put it into ghoulish frenzy or coil of devastation. Festering strike is no where near a lot of your overall damage so you might get more value elsewhere since this build doesnt use apocalypse.

It's still a toss up for me, I had 3 classes including 4 specs I was considering maining, and I'm pretty confident that one class and its spec has been dropped out of contention. Leaving Unholy DK (Riders), Enhance Shaman (Storm) Or Elemental Shaman (Also Storm). I've mained both Unholy and Enhance before, and love both specs, and the changes to DK might have it slightly ahead - but I think what I'll actually have to test is which of the Tank/Healer off specs I enjoy more - as might end up playing those a fair bit when pugging m+ if the dps main spec I pick is considered "off meta" xD

it’s slow but you just pull shit to you which is so cool. plus rider of the apocalypse gives it a ton of mobility. in open world, you can do full time mounted combat. in dungeons, your deaths advance is replaced with your mount. a 10 second divine steed with slow and knock back negation. pretty sweet. i play blood but dipping my toes in unholy to learn a dps spec and it’s a blast. i feel like i picked up frost in two keys, but UH is taking a bit longer

Posted too soon. They just gutted the diseases which we have been asking to be good since like MoP for the first time. They dont even do that much damage so its sad. The horsemen talents were the issue not the base disease spec damage.

Well the only reason for the drama was because when something does good they usually take it down to where it's not even wanted let alone played.
