Bag manufacturers should all send you their bags to review! Question for you, are the 4 way dividers fully enclosed?

I have a 2024 Ping Hoofer Lite (black) in a box and have been debating if I should bump it up to this Vessel VLS DXR bag. I mainly walk and rarely ever use a cart. We mainly have mini par 3’s and will splurge rarely on some nice par 5 courses. Do you recommend this bag over a ping hoofer lite?

Hey! Love the review. Is this material water proof? Also how much different in size is the main side pocket compared to the same pocket on the player 3?

Hey Peter! Thanks for reaching out! As far as the material for this bag, I don’t know if it technically is “water proof”, and it’s not listed on Vessels website either. I did use it in the rain at Pinehurst and the water does roll off of it quite well and it doesn’t stay wet. It wasn’t raining super hard but the zippers ARE waterproof sealed so that helps for sure. Also, the larger side pocket on this bag is a bit more snug than the Player III. It feels like one jacket and the rain hood take up a decent amount in the pocket. Hope this helps!

What kind of headcovers u have? White ones? Winston collection?

Thanks for reaching out. The lighter colored head covers with palm trees are from SYRON GOLF which I have a video on those on my channel as well. The other white one I have is from Mauna Lani in Hawaii. Hope this helps!

How's the water bottle holder? Looks small.

The water bottle holder is a little slimmer than the Player III model. It still holds a slimmer water bottle but you won’t be able to hold a heavier thicker bottle in there without it either stretching it out or it just not fitting. Hope that helps

Hello! I have used this bag primarily walking but I the next time I take it to the course I’ll share how it works on a cart. I know it will be just fine as the other bags that are larger in size work nicely as well. I always suggest using one of the cart strap sleeves Vessel offers on their website to protect the nice bag from those straps that have been known to ruin some bags!
