Hi guys, This sampler unit uses "Adoptive Delta Modulation" It sounds smoother than ordinary PCM codec even in the low sampling rate. Bandwith is related with pitch control, I cant remember the maximum and minimum frequency settings. At that time, most of sampler's bit depth was 8 to 12bits. Adoptive Delta Modulation has much more wider dynamic range and smoothness especially low frequency range. RIP the VESTAX.

been using one of these for last 20+yrs, nice mixer and wicked reverb, the aural exciter is essential, not sure if other mixers have this, reccomended

This machine was used in the legendary E-werk Berlin ´94 -- NO LINE EQ´s!!! No modern DJ can handle this, i guess!!
