How do you imagine the first town in As Rías Baixas? Santa Trega is a huge site with walls, terraces, narrow streets and even neighbourhoods around which the community was organised. Some 5,000 people lived in this castro, located on a promontory with incredible views extending from Portugal to the distant land of Finisterre. The archaeological materials found in the Archaeological Museum of Santa Trega (MASAT) provide an insight into the history of its inhabitants.
