My dad was a gun class teacher. He used to help train at the range. Then my aunt and uncle were both retired cops from Phoenix. So I know how to handle and use a gun. But I'm not really into using on or even want to use one. But if I have to I at least know how to do it. I consider myself lucky for having those people in my life.

They don't know or don't care about the safety rules. As long as you don't break at least one (usually multiple) of these rules, its near Impossible to have a fatal accident with a gun (as long as the gun doesn't explode, like Kentucy ballistics .50bmg. Don't use sketchy ammo). 1. Always treat a weapon as if it is loaded. 2. Always keep your finger away from the trigger until you have your target in your sights. And have made the conscious decision to shoot. 3. Always be aware of your target (identify it before shooting) and know what's behind it (bullets go through things and people). 4. Never point a gun at something you are not willing to shoot.

I'll admit canadian here so not normal for military grade weapons around me all the time. I am however ex canadian forces and I'll just put it simply. Going to America where people who are trained in firearm use isn't what scares me. It's the morons who are holding them that think this is fun and are likely to shoot rounds off in random directions that do
