Years back, I used to play pretty regularly. Wasn’t super good, but I could handle myself. Last day of the school year our teaching assistant offered to bring in the game for us to play as a nice treat. Our teacher agreed to let it happen, and naturally I was psyched. Turned out, I was the only one in the class who had actually played the game for more than an hour before. I brought my usual team of Wesker/Dante/Wolverine, and man, those poor kids were not ready. The teaching assistant offered to play since I was stomping everyone else. Turns out, he’d played a good bit himself, even went to a local tournament. I took maybe a couple rounds here and there, but that man put me in the forever box that day, I tell you what. MVC truly is for the people. Good times. Edit: ECW is gone but not forgotten. Kip is a real one for remembering them.

There are no secret characters in umvc3 but there are a number of alternate costumes for most every character in the roster As for character teams. Its largely agreed that ZMC is the best character combination in the game. ZMC standing for "Zero May Cry" as the team consists of; Zero from MegaMan X Dante from Devil May Cry Vergil from Devil May Cry

Surprise pal; Shuma Gorath is from Marvel. Dr. Strange Villain. MvC3 is the definitive VS game. Better than the past two and better than Infinite, the game that came after. On PC with mods the roster went from 50 to 100. There are no more Secret Characters. They're now called DLC.

Dante, Wesker, and Vergil are my go to team when i played. Dante and Wesker can set up air team juggles, while Vergil finishes it off with a helmbreaker or starfall. As well, Vergil and Wesker are quick fighters, but Vergil is even quicker when you activate his level 3 devil trigger move, or use X-factor, as its a speed and damage boost
