Fact: You can get it from Veteran Chest after unlocking the 6 Weapons, Red Skull (Avatar) and Graffiti (whenever if you already have them) For new player who is got lvl 65. It might be hard to grind for Veteran Armor from Veteran Chest

Mask, cape and hat aren’t just worth the substitute, they would need to buff it but it would make it too op, so im only hoping to get the armor and boots

No. It still works. I know because I had the exact same concern with Cape of Loneliness which does the same thing. It will still register as a headshot for kills. The damage will just be that of a bodyshot.

Theres specific type of weapons that can bypass the head shot immunity, Travel time weapons/aoe weapons For example: rude bully or PGX can bypass cape of loneliness and the new hat

The mask isn’t good the dev needs to buff it so it would be at least good like pumpkin mask if not better maybe 8% or 9% since pumpkin mask only does 7% after all it is a veteran item plus we grind the entire thing to try and get it

Pumpkin mask takes longer to get since it comes back once every year during Halloween, veteran mask is availabile anytime but the grind ain't gonna be that long

Reach level 65, then every 400 EXP you get after will get you a Veterans chest which has 10 parts for 1 veteran item per opening. With a pool now 11 veterans items, you have a *LOT* of grinding ahead. If you get 50EXP for finishing first in a raid, that's 8 raids per chest, 25 chests for one item, 11 items: You have to finish first in 2,200 raids to get the entire veteran set of weapons and armor. Happy grinding!

@xBeepz You gotta at least grind for the Thermal Ultra Scythe or the Sentence (if you need a good sniper). The rest is meh besides the armor, but if you can do without it, that's fine. PS: The grind is much easier than back when the veterans chests were first introduced. They costed 1500EXP per chest and each one only gave 3 parts.
