Over financialization of economy is not good for the overall economy. The banking needs to be boring. The current asset inflation in stock market is because of rampant credit creation by central banks out of nothing. Until we have strong rupee backed by real assets like Gold all this is meaningless as it will not improve the lives of bottom 50%. The asset inflation only helps people who are already rich and puts inflation burden on poor.
