You were wondering how long has Nightwish played together. It was actually founded in 1996 by Tuomas, Emppu and Tarja. Jukka (the first drummer) joined the band in 1997. The band had had two basists (one playing gigs and one as member) before Marco took the role in 2001. So they have been together for quite a while, with Tuomas and Emppu even playing together in a different band before founding Nightwish.

😂..glad you choose one with Nightwish`s first queen Tarja, she is a world class singer too...btw. when are the headphone holders out on the market? will they be available in desert camo colors? after all it is a vet channel, so it would be the most fitting color😂..i have a suggestion, if you are interested in reacting to more of the new album. You have probably been told there are no live stuff from the new album yet, but thats not 100% true...Floor and Troy did an acoustic version of the song: How`s The Heart(live on planet rock). double reaction? album version with lyrics first and that live acoustic version after?😁btw its a softer song, but it`s good . i just read a post on Wicksters community thread about the topic of this song, about asking people how they really feel...anyway, great reaction guys, like allways. Nightwish's 3 singers: 1. Tarja (original singer): 1995 to 2005 2. Annette: 2006 to 2012 3. Floor (current singer): 2013 to 2020+ everyone knows Floor, she's super popular with everyone, especially right now, and is a really good singer, having a huge variety of singing capability (pop, classical/opera, belting, growling/raspy), able to sing nightwish's old songs that were for Tarja's classical/opera singing, as well as new songs for her own variety/range of singing abilities Unfortunately for Annette, she's a pop/rock singer, and a very good singer too, but her pop/rock singing just didn't go that well with nightwish's music, which was made for Tarja's dark classical/opera singing. So, usually, she gets left out. so, it comes down to "Targasm” (Tarja) vs “Floorgasm” (Floor) in terms of the Nightwish singers in who you like most, if you like classical/opera singing better, Tarja is better at it, but that's all she does while with nightwish, as nightwish was created for tarja's unique dark operatic singing/voice, (now with her own band, or solo, she does a greater range of singing), but she does it really well, she's really got a beautiful voice, if you like more pop singing, belting and growling/raspy, with or without classical/opera singing, than you like Floor better I knew nightwish from the early 2000s, so Nightwish will always be with Tarja, but Nightwish with Floor is really good too, but it's Tarja, who's my favorite singer with nightwish (many others will help you out with Floor's songs, so I'll just stick to Tarja's songs here) ---------- if you do like Tarja with nightwish, here's some good ones: (NOT ranked, just listed) 1. End of an Era (her last concert with nightwish, hard to find good quality and the entire concert, as it gets taken down) 2. Phantom of the Opera (her duet with Marco, really good, both of them together, this song was actually used in the Phantom of the Opera remake movie in 2004) 3. Wishmaster 4. Planet Hell (marco sings in this song as well) 5. End of All Hope 6. Dead Boy's Poem 7. Nemo (watch the official music video, NOT her concert performance of it, as it's really good, this is probably what got most of us older fans of nightwish, hooked to nightwish and her, after finding/watching this song by her and nigthwish) 8. Kinslayer 9. she is my sin 10. wish I had an angel 11. slaying the dreamer and many more too ----------------------- I don't know music/performance stuff, so I probably don't understand "presence", and while I do see how Floor has "presence", so does Tarja for me, she makes the songs/band, fun and sexy, on top of the songs/band being badass, can't take my eyes off *MY* mesmerizing alluring spell-binding seductress, Tarja :D

man i can't wait until they can go on tour again. you guys should check out Wintersun sometime, I'd bet you've already had requests but if not add them to the list. their genres vary from folk metal to death metal, and Kai Hahto is their drummer as well as Nightwish's so you know they go hard. i recommend Sons of Winter And Stars, specifically the one recorded live at Sonic Pump Studios

How they could pull it off? Because the had secretly been planning this whole spectacle already 9 months prior and even planned a secret-after party to celebrate the end of the tour - invited the whole crew, family, and management, all except Tarja and her husband - and this was planned months prior as well. This is all confirmed by the guys themselves in the Nightwish Book.

This video always makes me a bit sad, because it was the very last performance of Tarja with Nightwish - not only the last concert but literally the last song they ever played together. After that, it was over. I don't know if you have the video version where it continues for a while after the song ends, but you can see the emotions there on their faces and even the fans were crying. What happened right after this song was what started the feelings you experience in Poet and the Pendulum.

Tarja's voice and style worked with robes, capes and dresses. Not so much for Floor, LEATHER is it ! Please do "Nemo " , all three vocalists sang it and Floor does an acoustic cover with Troy.
