I have met many WW2 Veterans working in their gardens and have sat for hours listening to what they want to recall' a real privilege with a cup of tea and a biscuit. When I was a kid about 1975 we visited an old great, great Uncle, a WW1 Veteran, he was sat by his fire place in summer in his great coat wheezing and had a chat and a chocolate biscuit. It was the deepest shame that Sunak put a ITV recording before the 80th Anniversary of people giving their lives for this Country. Even those still living were so brave. They should have had the deepest respect from the UK Prime Minister. However, it appears Sunak could not be bothered and preferred to get back early to get on with his politics.
