I enjoyed Tom’s very interesting story about his life and his Vietnam experience. From my perspective, he earned his Bronze Star when he made the decision to go to Vietnam for the reasons he made it. His experience in the field elevated him above the ‘in the rear with the gear’ crowd. His performance there was very necessary because the UCMJ is a required structure because soldiers et al cannot be allowed to become wanton & reckless just because they are trained to kill. I was in Danang from 12/26/72 until late February ‘73 when my unit was pulled back to the Philippines. I performed intelligence interception from an airborne platform for the USN. Some good & some not so good memories of my time there. Thanks again to Tom & this YT channel.
