Linda thank you for your service, and thank you for taking care of yourself. It is so easy to bury yourself in caring for others, and setting your personal needs aside. Kinda like putting your own life jacket on before helping some else buckle up! I can tell you have a lot to give to others who find themselves backed into a corner, so please keep yourself at the ready by taking advantage of the help that js available for you

The VA is my best provider. They don't have to nickel and dime on things like gloves or bed protection pads . I get therapy via a large screen at my VAMC. The therapy I get is a psychiatrist. He is personable, kind and acts glad to see me. He remembers things I mention. Even kids me about my football teams. The VA has a women's clinic that has small tables for kids when Mom is cared for. Grandma finds it easy to be there. Children are curious so they have a place to play where Grammy is comfortable. Not to mention tv too.

I am a Vietnam Vet and served with MACV TEAMS. I want to thank you for your service and dedication to your field. Without your help a lot of Vets would not have lived on and survived. Thanks again for your service and big heart. May God bless and keep you.

Also I never knew anything about pTSD either until I started noticing something wrong with my whole being because of someone else's actions behaviors and attitudes,,,,then I started understanding what the shock feeling was and why I was so pissed off and still am ,,,,,,,,,knowing God helps me ,,,,,alotttttttt,,,except when serious terrible things continually 1 after the other ,,,until I'm nothing but stuck again,,,😶😐😑😶😶😶

Please tell me where you are located. I know someone who really needs help but will only talk to someone with experience meaning he wants to talk to a therapist who is a combat vet. Any resources with someone who has this experience will help. Just want to see him get better.
