I spent a total of 10 hours just in this first area. aside from trying to get every single thing I could at the point (except for the monsters on crack), the music was the main reason to feel those hours go like breeze. One of the best first areas in a game, and definitely the best remix of my favorite track in the game. Shimomura, you create adventures out of notes.

Try over 100hrs at the start of the game before the mechs attacked C9 lol. This was on the Wii back then when I imported from Japan. I got to lvl 47 before moving on ect. Now on the Switch I ended up playing with spike damage & did a 1st of maxing my lvl to 99 in ch.7 for everyone. Definitely a awesome game.
