FYI there is absolutely no need for the teflon tape. In fact it should not be used that is not the area to seal. Should have a white washer on the spray tip area and pole and no teflon tape on any of the hose fittings. they are AN style fittings and compress which you need the threads clean to get a good and tight seal.

amen, as a matter of fact the teflon can work against you by blocking a good seal

.. my heat gun finally turned up 3 years later ive been dusting it off have not pluged it in again yet .. its black so I could not see it hanging on the wall ... thats a super cool spray unit brand new even...!..TY ..!

No Teflon needed it's compression fittings. Would you Teflon hydraulic brake lines? When you have snapon tool i wouldn't have to tell you

Why do you say hydraulic brake lines? All brake lines are hydraulic. Hydro meaning fluid. If you dont have fluid you dont need lines. su·per·flu·ous /so͞oˈpərfləwəs/ adjective unnecessary, especially through being more than enough.

You should only use that extension if you are painting the ceiling.. I take it you never read the instructions

never put teflon tape on your threads. That is a big mistake
