Can this machine do olives for olive oil, if so are the seeds removed? That would be a great video if it does! Sure it could do walnut, hazelnut, black cumin, peanut, sunflowers, pistachio, pecan, almond- I am seriously thinking about this machine, but I wanna hear about olive oil. Because of that heavy duty auger, could be a juicer & extract liquid? Thank you for posting. Wonder also could it do essential oils ? Lets say lemon oil using the skins only? Could only imagine making fresh Kalamata olive oil, which is the best olive oil for your heart, btw.

If you overwhelm it, when there should be a steady flow of peanuts at a time, the peanuts could jam up to block easy flow, & it will make this awful & loud, motor under resistance & the sound of it wasn't normal & as soon as I heard it, I shut the machine off. I'm waiting for it to cool down before I remove the grinding rod & housing. I will test for a sound motor by turning the machine on & flick between forward & reverse a couple of times & hope it's just the grinding rod & housing has a blockage.

Thanks Rus - I know of the excellent benefits of Flax. - Cheers! A couple of questions... 1) Roughly how many ounces of oil would you get per pound of flax seeds? 2) Could the flax seed debris be used for other cooking recipes, or is basically just husks, and better suited for the garden?
@SmokyRibsBBQ Жыл бұрын
I'm guessing here, but I'm gonna say around 6 to 7 ounces of oil from 1 pound of seed. I'm not sure if the husk can be used in a recipe but I know it would do a garden good. Cheers Garry!

@SmokyRibsBBQ22 күн бұрын
Turn the heater on. Even pressing with heater off will heat things up because of the friction. You get better results letting it preheat, then you can either leave the heater on, or turn it off. It will stay hot either way.
