Bloody hell kirollus, that first tune is so electro! I hope you have heard of the streetsounds electro series that came out in the eighties? If not, why not!!! Brilliant series that was my first introduction to hiphop, rap, techno jazz.And the first ever mixed albums I think to be brought out.

Hi my friend…. Yes the Streetsounds Electro was fantastic, ( as most of the street sound sounds release’s, produced by Morgan Khan ). I was about 8 when I brought “Electro 1” … & the first streetsounds edition which featured “Raw Silk” . Purchased all but stopped the Electro at about volume 13 .. started to go down hill , but the first up to 10 was great , especially the first 6 & the “Crucials” 1& 2 then the cover design changed at it wasn’t the same after . U.K Electro was diabolical but had “broken Glass - Style of the Street “ which was a chooon . Still got all those streetsounds vinyl in mint condition from the day I brought them . Picked most the tracks up on 12” or the LPs over the years but still kept hold of all the streetsounds releases for sentimental, Morgan Khan was a master . Glad you brought up the subject about Streetsounds….. think the Projection track on this set probably reminds you of the tack “Get Wet” by C-Bank if any ?? My personal electro fave was “ On the Upside “ .. Xena on Electro 2 . Memories mate & glad you mentioned it .. sorry I’ve rambled on but nice to chat with folk who still remember the stuff . 👍
