That eurofighter at 13:09 doing a fake landing also was impressive. Although all european jet piots and the US navy pilots train at the same navy school in Cali (if anyone is interested there are some rhino ball videos), it is still impressive how the pilot kept the vector altitude. The eurofighter is designed for high altitude bombing runs not for stable altitude. Kudos to that spain pilot

Cheers! I was ships company on the Forrestal (88-90) when your squadron was still flying the F-14A. Now THAT was an aircraft! FID is razor blades now but I read somewhere that its anchors went to the Truman so it's good to see that the spirit goes on. I wish we had the tech to save the memories with the folks back home and to remember years later so from an old salt thanks for sharing.

Some of the most memorable days of my life are my Med cruise with VF-11 in 1986. Red Rippers forever. I terminated shore duty to join VF-11. I wish I would have known at the time what an epic event it was.
