Nice tutorial - As a newcomer to the world of sim flight, I'm interested in how you have learned to fly using all the callouts, etc. Are there any resources you can recommend? How has your approach to learning been?

Happy to see you enjoyed the video. Most of my knowledge actually just comes from KZbin tutorials. Basically anything you want to know can be found with just a quick search. Also, flight sim streamers are great. Most of the time they fly (fairly) realistically so it’s great to see the procedures and call-outs they use. Even better if you watch someone like FlightDeck2Sim as he is a real 737 pilot or 737NG/A330Driver who is an ex 737 pilot and now an A330 pilot. Many real pilots use msfs so finding their channels is a great help for the commercial side of flying. For general aviation flying (Cessna for example) again there are many real world private pilots who share their knowledge on KZbin. Overall I have found learning from that quite easy as you can just learn what you want when you need to and not have to read through a 300 page manual for each aircraft. Also, once you get a bit more familiar with an aircraft and how to fly well I would definitely recommend Vatsim. If you don’t know about it it’s basically an online network with both controllers and pilots. I joined around 2 years ago and I’ve learned so much just from using that, as you hear the other pilots and you are kind of forced to learn how to fly the aircraft properly. Overall though, the flight sim community is one of the best I have ever seen and there are so many people who will be happy to help through videos, forum posts and external posts (Reddit for example) and many will also be able to point you in the right direction for what you want to learn. Thanks 🙂. At the time I think I was running medium preset with a couple things pumped up a bit. When this video was done, I had a Ryzen 3 3100 and GTX1660Super but I recently upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800x and RTX4060

Yeah I do plan on making more in the future, and I have a big “series” of tutorials planned I just need to find the time at the moment. I find that streaming is easier for me at the moment as it’s less time consuming so I do more over on twitch currently but admittedly still not as much as I would like to
