Good job! I had to replace the seal of the valve cover from the front cilinder pair. According to the manual you can do that with the radiator swung to the front. It has to be me but... after many trial and error sessions I ended up with removing the radiator (had to refresh coolant anyway), the tank and the airfilter box. With all that removed you can access the front valve cover relatively well. Trouble I had when I did not do all this removal is that the seal continued to fall of the valve cover. The seal has to be fixed to the valve cover and not to the cilinder block. So gravity fights against you. I also used the sealant Honda recommends as the 'glue' to fix the seal to the valve cover. After that fitting it was relatively trouble free and the oil leak (the reason for replacing it) is gone! Good luck with all the jobs on your VFR, very interesting.

Thanks. I was thinking the same, I have to change the coolant and the radiator looks in good condition but could do with the sides being repainted. So I think I will remove it. Thanks for the comments and for watching, very much appreciated.
