WB didn't need biased critics or MCU fanboys raging out to sabotage this movie. They did it all on their own.. And then they blamed Geoff Johns AND Zack Snyder for it, firing the latter and demoting the first. DC Films really should begin to consider going independent before WB ruins DC as Marvel Studios ruined Marvel. Sure, MCU movies may be popular, but are they correct adaptations? No, they're not. Do they represent superheroes? No, they don't. They're 80's action comedies that just so happen to feature people in costumes instead of the typical gun blazing loud mouth. They're still loud mouths and arguing all the time (classic 80's action comedy tactic) but they removed the guns with superpowers, for most of them at least. The MCU completely warped the image mainstream fans have about superheroes. AND it caused an immense increase in popflicks of all genres on both the big screen as well as the small screen. Dumbing down both the entertainment and the audience. Smarter movies and series are so frowned upon these days, often even flopping immensely simply because people are now used to popcornflicks. You can even see that in DC TV and Marvel tv series. Take Agents of Shield and Arrow for example, both were dark series that had an edge, both dared to go the extra mile. And then the rise of popcornflicks began. They're both still dark-ish, but the writing has turned more popcornflicky. Meaning that instead of putting faith in Zack and DC, WB now does the exact same thing Marvel Studios did after Iron Man; lose faith in the source material and try to make it more fun and appealing for a wider audience rather than be happy with the money it makes in an audience that actually loves this and let the genre grow on others. Because, biased articles or not, the DC movies did in fact make a shit ton of money. And now, with the trimming down of JL and the meddling of WB and their own insecurities and clear lack of DC know-how, they've turned what was supposed to be the biggest DC movie yet into a massive flop that made even less than MoS. Proving once and for all that Zack's vision was in fact the right vision. But all these guys seem to care about is making the next MCU. Which was completely unnecessary because the DCEU was making more money than the MCU on the track it was before the JL bomb. They, like everyone else, focused too hard and too much on the 4 movies in the MCU that made over 1 billion. And with their focus on those 4 they failed to see that over 70 percent of the MCU made less than MoS. The DCEU was well on it's way to become a bigger and more succesful franchise than the MCU. And if they would've left JL alone and postponed it rather than change it last minute, then it would've made in between 800 million - 1.1 billion. The Avengers may have made more, but DCEU was 3 billion ahead of the MCU BEFORE the JL bomb. Now that's barely 1 billion thanks to WB sabotaging their own movie out of their own greed. DC Films needs to buy themselves out of WB and go independent. They'd have a lot more succes if they did and a lot less problems.

He's always had the struggle of trying to fit in and be normal, but people are stupid and don't see that. What the hell is wrong with a badass angry Batman who just doesn't give a fuck anymore? NOTHING!! it was a perfect take on Batman. The only thing i agree with is Flash sucking, they really fucked him up, but they've done a great job with everyone else and with keeping a more adult tone in line with DC comics, they're just morons at WB and rushed everything to try and catch up instead of taking their time and getting rich a few years later. I dont think this is good either, but actually better than the crap we ended up with... this is like a 5/10 design - my biggest issue is the face, the metal shards and armor actually look cool - but the turd in the final version is a 1/10, looks like an ugly ass glaringly obvious CGI dude in a Power Rangers villain costume. I dont think you can come up with worse even if you try. The version I'd have preferred though is like the comic. a bearded basdass looking guy with crimson eyes - not just the iris, but the whole eye, like its filled with blood - and some cool looking armor and helmet. And that way maybe you can actually let an actor play him and have some charisma and personality. So I dont think this whole full on alien / demon vibe was something to go with either, it just screams generic - would have preferred it like this bloodlusted, bit gleeful and sadistic human like warlord.
