Bro,for getting job as vfx compositing artist,we need roto and paint experience or we can directly join as compositor?

yes you need experience,, but it's not mean that you need to start your job as a roto or paint artist,, roto and paint is part of compositing so you must know how to do roto and paint properly,,, and for joining yes you can join directly as a junior compositor some studio provide comp training for junior prepare them to work in production,,,,

first of all you are changing the department as i know in studio paint department is separate and comp separate so it's depend on which role they are giving you i mean junior, mid, senior.
