02:50, the word is topology and seams for unwraping. I am generalist and happy doing so because i use 3d for archviz, not any hardcore animation. Software i use are blender, 3ds max and rhino. I think like become specialized in one thing is okay if you are doing a job but when it comes to do your own work, you have to do all by yourself. It may need sometime to learn the tools but you will connect the dots and optimize your workflow for that and then even if you work in a team, you got to know the complete process and make better decisions as where we can reduce the work and time and use alternate method to produce desired result. But in any hardcore project, specialised people have no replacement but if you straightforward said that choose one thing just from start then it can be wrong for beginner.
