VGate Magnet Motor Prototype. This is a Soukup VGate magnetic motor. Different individuals have attempted to build a replica of this motor invented by a German inventor and a few of them have been successful in doing so. We watched the original videos of the inventor and liked his tabletop prototypes and attempted to build an almost identical copy of his prototypes. This is our first attempt at a VGate free energy magnetic motor. Its almost easier to build larger prototypes with very large and strong permanent magnets, but its very difficult to get it to work in a very small and tiny tabletop prototype. Because of its size, the rotor has only 3/8" magnets installed and 1/8" thick, there are 54 magnets on the rotor. The stator has 8 permanent magnets that are 1/2" wide by 2" long. We learned a lot by building this prototype. If spun by hand quickly, it can spin for up to 5 minutes before it comes to a gradual stop. The main problem here is the gap between the permanent magnets on the rotor and that of the stator. If the permanent magnets are too strong, the air gap needs to be even up to 1.5" apart because if the air gap is too close, there will be too many negative forces clogging up the movement, our air gap is only 1/2". We are thinking that if smaller rotors were built and different strength of permanent magnets, different results could have been achieved. We will attempt this type of motor again in the future.

I think Soukup only used 5 drive magnets at most out of the 12 possible, imbalance seems to be key.

I like the way you think. I've thought a lot about these concepts too. No such thing as free energy but using these techniques to find a more efficient way to produce energy, that's where it's at.

But what use is it? We can see it slowing down down quite quickly, and I'm sure that any attempt to drive machinery or a generator with it would cause it to stop instantly. I'd like to see a version without the stator magnets, I bet it would run for the same time just by flywheel effect.

I would try to have the outside magnets spring loaded. Have a camshaft push the outer magnet away at the brake in the inner magnets.

This is really a very good invention, you should apply for a patent for it. Unfortunately, bad news: This invention would have to work in order for you to get a patent. Well, things don't always work out the way you want.😢

Will be stop to spin... Real V-Gate will 'automatically move' after you put main magnet to the V-Gate track... In your Video, no movement and need to 'spin manually' 😅

very nice build!!!. are you using laser cutter or cnc? which model? As for the motor, george soukop is a fraud. He himself admitted in march 2010 that he was wrong and that "his invention" did not work. But even if it doesn't produce any free energy, I must admit that it is the nicest build of a v-gate motor i have ever seen. Luc

According to the inventor, imagine 2 rounded permanent magnets side by side 1/2" thick by 2" long. If they both lay side by side and both of them are facing the same polarity north, north, south, south, both of them will try to repel each other and roll away. Now if one of the 2 magnets is flipped around, then they will be in attractive mode and attract each other (NS SN). This motor is supposed to run on the same principle, the only problem is the permanent magnets in the motor are stationary, they don't move. If the magnets on the stator are flipped around, the motor will work either in attractive mode or repulsive mode. Now the only way to achieve that is to build a VGate on the rotor where the permanent magnets are closer to the end of the rotor. Lets say they're 2" long, then they get progressively shorter around the rest of the perimeter of the rotor. The permanent magnets on the stator will notice that difference and begin to pull the rotor or push the rotor depending if the magnets are in a repulsive or attractive mode, but only for about 300+ degrees of the rotation and then it gets stuck. Now if placing say 4 or 8 permanent magnets in the stator spaced equally apart around the rotor, the idea here is that while one permanent magnet is stuck and needs help to overcome the sticky point the other seven remaining permanent magnets in the stator are all having positive force and moving forward towards the sticky part all at the same time. The hope here is that the combined positive forces of all seven magnets pulling the rotor forward is greater than that of the one permanent magnet being stuck and needs to overcome the sticky point.

No. Un sistema chiuso porta con se un carico crescente di resistenza magnetica. Al Termine dei 360° la resistenza finale farà andare tutto il sistema a 0. Poi ci sono resistenze dell'alternatore, e si va a - 1.
