It's awesome to see Regalo not rely or use DJCZ as much as other Lucai. Sometimes it feels like the tech is necessary for the character to do well.

Agreed I'm a Lucas main myself and I believe you don't need to rely on djcz to play the character you don't even really need it at all imo. I recently rewatched a bunch of Regalos old sets to see how many times I could see him use djcz and I think I might have counted 4 every other time was a fast fall zair.

You think about it and k rool has so many moves similar to lucas like, annoyingly good zoning tools, a big but cheesable recovery, a B-aut that spikes, a D-air that spikes, a kick for a F-air, an ability to ignore damage via super armor or invincibility (lucas up smash has invincibility) and even a down throw that buries.

As a K. Rool main who loves this character to death... Regalo completely earned this. He is soooooo good!

That dude doesn't know how to use k rool and literally fall for all the most obvious traps. He's so slow playing as k rool, lucas is no threat to K rool whatsoever.

Everytime i see this tournaments and people using K Rool it gives me cringe. These people have no right on playing this character at all, everyone uses the same things and are so slow with him for no reason 😁
