I thought Bananas was a lame wobbler but wow he’s insane
@savanchandul74516 жыл бұрын
I think Bananas just has the right mental game as well. He does enjoy this game, and he seems to have one expression, meaning that he doesn't weaken from emotions or change his consistency. Especially when his opponents are flustered by being wobbled.

Most impressed I've ever been with a Sopo stock.

And then Fiction ends up fighting Axe in losers and getting bodied on Fountain of Dreams. He might have literally relived Otto's dark past.

13:41 fiction didn't die because he was mashing, he died because he was trying to SDI a possible down air. it's a fun 50/50 that ic's can do when spacies are at 50% or above, because they die at that low insane setup from side b also LOL

Andre Felix That wasn’t a down throw down air DI though, it looked like he DId out and away

It's so nice to see these players coming up on characters like ICs and Puff. As much as I'm not a fan of wobbling, or puff play in general, I think having these characters put up good results and be at tournaments consistently is super important to viewership and the continued longevity of melee.
@scythermantis6 жыл бұрын
Eh, Melee would survive even if it was just Fox vs. Falco ha ha.
@papabanks15406 жыл бұрын
scythermantis maybe if we’re talking about personal enjoyment. But as an esport, character diversity is important. If the meta just boiled down to fox and falco, you better believe viewership would plummet. Partly because watching the same 3 matchups for 6 hours is bland viewership, but more importantly player personality plays a huge part in both the characters they choose to play, and what makes them enjoyable to watch. Narrow the players down to fox and falco, and you cut out half of the personalities in the scene.

I didn't know Ricky Berwick's brother was so good at melee.
