​​​@@24x10met as someone who won a tournament 6-0 and made top 5 in like 4 other tournaments in a row I don't think he's that incorrect. Playing other swordies is very useful for development. Issue is that I don't think that'll help Shadic. What will help Shadic is a change in playstyle. He tries too hard to bait people to get jumpy out of shield. If you noticed in every set, Shadic will run at his opponent if they are in shield, but Shadic will almost never grab or run up charge F-Smash. He just waits for them to do something stupid, but these are top players who have studied Shadic so this tactic never works on them. In other words, Shadic is relying way too much on heavy bait and punish. He needs to be more aggressive in a clever way (use a lot more grabs or charged F-smashes to beat shield but mainly grabs). He needs to recognize when his usual tactics are not working and then switch it up better. He basically never changed or adapted at all in any of his sets, while his opponents did. A lot of methods that obviously did not work, were still being used. That's the quickest way to lose at top level. The good thing is that Shadic can simply VOD review these sets and I bet he'll notice it. If not then someone else will let him know.
