14:52 Easy. Everyone thought Esam's piloting of Pikachu was master level but Shiny's consistency and fluid, subtle piloting proved Esam had lots of work to do. Shinymark is the Pikachu meta. Not Esam.

I see what you mean, but I think there's a balance to be struck. For instance if Shinymark fought a player like Light, I think he would lose pretty consistently, while ESAM I think is more likely to win. Shinymark on the other hand, has a playstyle that allows him to win even pikas bad matchups handily. I think if there is a best Pikachu today, it's Shinymark. But both ESAM and shiny would benefit from taking a page out of each other's books

@@thesaxiest4480 naw I doubt that. For one, Light and Esam have had close matches but Esam isn't even competing with the best like Light and Shiny. Shiny is all around a better pilot and plays Pikachu better than Esam fundamentally. Esam is not as sharp nor adaptive. Notice Esam doesn't even make it to top 8 anymore. And if I were to go agree with you on that small critique, as farfetched as it is, it's a petty nitpick when it all boils down. Who cares if Esam is a better matchup for Light if he can't even make top 32 to face him?

Know what's wild? Ness is considered to be a hard matchup for Pikachu. And yet here -- against an extremely good Gackt -- Pikachu seems unbeatable. Incineroar is considered to be a very easy matchup for Pikachu. And did you see Shinymark face off against Skyjay? Incineroar had Pikachu on the ropes the entire time.

I was enjoying this game till shinymark started running the clock out. Such incredibly boring gameplay. This is meant to be a spectator sport, and i was meant to be watching fighting, not running. If i wanted gameplay like this is watch sonic matches.
