Man, I love this game but I hate it. Why cant Luigi at least be as good as pika or yoshi

luigi can probably output as good results as those characters, the issue however is of two things. Marth simply existing, he diffs Luigi hard. And Luigi isn't as optimized as those two characters, aMSa hard carries people's perception of Yoshi and similar could be said about players playing pikachu to a smaller extent

​@@globbyyoshi exactly. If we had a Lu that could tech chase as good as Jmook then yeah he'd be in top 8 consistently. Also the Marth match up isn't as bad as people assume it js. Luigi punishes Marth HARD if your execution is tight. We just don't have a person with the skill currently to bring Luigi to new heights.

Abate’s Luigi was the closest thing we had to an aMSa Yoshi. Sadly he stopped going to tournaments at the height of his career. He was a more aggressive and creative player than Eddy IMO
