4:16 have these casters never played Roy before? “what do I do after I hit their shield?” Hit it again. Roy can belligerently knock on shields ALL DAY. Sheik has a terrible out of shield game and Roy’s nair is broken. Edit: ​By OoSG I meant a threat of immediate KO, to respect, smash / up b. A combo out of shield is not a serious threat when roy knocks on your shield with nair or jab. You'd need to have their timing mix up, or guess right and then be ready for very precise inputs. Meanwhile you are sheik at 70% and nair1 Jair kills start KOing at 55, Jair 60 and almost all of his falling Arials combo into kill confirms at 65. Point being he doesn't have to respect shield at all. But y'all are right she has an out of shield game, I misspoke, out of shield threat is more accurate. ​⁠

Wdym sheik has terrible out of shield? Sheiks framedata is good all around and her aireals out of shield are really solid which then leads into a combo. But yea roy has really strong shield pressure idk wut the commentator was on about

@@sullivanish rising nair is punishable on hit. Foot stool dair is best option but not consistent. That’s what I mean. There’s not any repercussions for touching sheiks shield.

@tendo_no_entiendo but rising forward air isn't punishable on hit at low percents so if he was pressuring from the front then that is an option but I get what u mean

​@tendo_no_entiendo Sheik absolutely doesn't have a terrible out of shield game. It's not bad but between nair and fair she can knock opponents away and create space very easy, in addition to her general agility which can slip her out super consistently
