@@RockinRay-dp6zx Ganon doesn't need a nerf lmao. Either way, 3.1.0 was the best patch smash has ever had imo. But yeah, Ganon isn't good enough or busted enough to need a nerf. I personally don't think Ice climbers are bottom tier (though they did just remove the infinite), because if used right they have several 0-to-death combos, and they're pretty oppressive. By no means are iceclimbers good, but I feel like they sit in lower mid-tier. I would like to see them buffed, but I think IC is a difficult character to mess around with, because they can easily go broken with a some slight buffs. I think some Sopo buffs, and either a better desync or make them harder to gimp is all you need to put them in a solid mid tier position.

Player 1 (the leading climber) is usually called Popo and Player 2 (the following climber) is usually called Nana in reference to the original skin (Popo P1 and Nana P2), just to make things less confusing. Besides, not many people care unless they don't know the terminology, although using the correct names for when Nana is P1 is my personal preference.

I may be wrong and sorry as I don't have the game or rarely played or even a way to test this. But doesn't Nana block a few frames after Popo? If so... Then there is a lot more desync opportunities. Then it would be very hard to fight Ice Climbers if this is actually a thing. I wish I had the game or system to test this. 😕

XxWallzxX There are grab desyncs and jab desyncs, dozens of known desyncs. I dunno if there’s anything from just grabbing, you’d have to ask the IC Discord or something

I don't think you can desync purely from shield. You can desync from throws, jabs, parries, etc., anything where Popo acts independently from Nana, or where Nana has longer endlag. There's many known desyncs, and a good IC player can be very difficult to fight. If you get caught in a desync combo, IC can get true 0-to-deaths with perfect inputs. Unfortunately, there are many places where IC falls behind, and as such they're relatively low tier, but they can be more than deadly if used correctly.

U know what tip me off the most watching Battle of BC 3 ice climbers matchs is the commentators and the crowds always wrong mentioning the characters names. Crafty - do a short hop and up air just before you hit the ground input a special, if you input the same specialtwice it will de sync

Also flick the stick to dash, then in the middle of the dash tap A and if jab hits then only popo will jab, desynced
