It's worth considering the reflector in this matchup. The mine can be pocketed and with the reflector, you can reflect villager's fair, bair, pot, lloyd, bowling ball and the pot from his dash attack.

I didn’t see jabbing from Cap, and it is one of the fastest moves he has, so maybe that affected the match too?
