Sadly they haven’t changed the firmware on this yet to6 banks of 32 like the N76 HT’s now have. I hope they will.

I used your video to setup my N7500 the first time. I find that when I turn the radio off (either by the button on the radio or on the app) then turn it back on, it goes into pairing mode. The only way I've found to get out of pairing mode is to delete the radio from the app and re-pair it. What I'm I doing wrong?

I am waiting for the iOS update for their app. It’s lacking, and 16 channels is to low for me. I love this concept though. It will be awesome when the app updates. Software as an interface leaves open many possibilities.

Can the 7500 be used on it's own? so after inital setup you don't have to have the app connected ? 73

It's does work without app you can change channels and volume using Mic

@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones Sorry, I meant to ask about if APRS still functions as I'm looking for a single unit to use as a stand alone digipeater rather than having to use a radio with a PC/Pi TNC and or soundcard modem and all the cables connecting the items together etc. Thanks for the reply

local VHF repeater has an alternate UHF input, will this radio allow for me to program a memory with VHF RX and UHF TX?

Mine makes a "roger beep" when UN-Keying..... although its not a beep, it sounds just like what you would hear on a lot of police or other public service radio after UN-Keying.......... Does ANYONE have any idea how to stop this on the VR-N7500 ?
