Great tones as always. Love your playing. I do own the same guitar... In a way. Bought one of a local guy for 100€ in a really bad shape and the evertune ripped out. I'm currently waiting to go to my parents house again to repaint the guitar, fill the huge hole, install a fixed ibanez Gibraltar bridge and install some new pickups. The neck and fretwork is outstanding so i'll take the work. Stay save!

As luck would have it, I picked up this Guitar for 200€ Today. Good thing that this video inspired me to search for this guitar on ebay. I will most likely upgrade the pickups to some Fishman Fluence ones, but how do the original pickups compare to your current ones? Are the stock pickups even usable? Anyway, great video and awesome playing!

Thanks man. For 200€ you made a steal! The stock pickups are not that bad, but you can't compare them to bare knuckles or fishmans. They are on another level... and price. Enjoy the Evertune!

Hi, I have same VGS like you and just today almost threw it to garbage :D I even have aftermaths installed in but still guitar is lack of clarity that I need...can I ask you which exact gauge of strings do you use? I somehow ended with buying thicker and thicker 7th string because it always sounded floppy to me I am now at 0.64 that I can barely put on guitar because of hole in tuner and evertune :D I had a feeling that 9set wouldnt be usable on this guitar but you said you came back to 9s..thank you for advice

Keep in mind that i modded all the electronics including cables, pots, even the poles of the pickups. I'm using Elixir's 9-46 + a 062 for standard tuning. The 062 is because i go down to drop A sometimes otherwise you can have good tension also with lighter gauge on the Evertune.
