My mom died 2 days before my 12th birthday on June 8 1986. She was just 35. It was devastating as a child. Somehow someway not long before, I was introduced to Billy. My older brothers friend want to trade his Billy Joel greatest hit volume 1 and 2 for my Huey Lewis cassette. And me thinking hell yea!! I trade 1 and get 2!! Awesome!!! as I began to listen I realized my life was changed forever. I was raised with 3 other siblings by an angry Vietnam vet/alcoholic police officer that lost the love of his life at such a young age. Maybe that’s why I became a punching bag. I’m ok with that now butI’m sure some of the messed up parts are due to my messed up upbringing but thru all the ups and downs there’s one thing that’s been a constant. That’s BILLLY JOEL. I’ve seen him live 30 times. All over the US and internationally as well. I’m looking forward to 31. Thanks Billy. I love you William Martin Joel

Hey, anyone that has ANYTHING to say about Him, then I'd like to see what they can do, & if they can do better, which I HIGHLY DOUBT! He at least had the stones to ask Billy "ON NATIONAL TELEVISION" YET, if He could play with Him, & as NOT ONLY a Pro-Musician Myself, but a Billy Joel Tribute artist whom has performed numerous times with many different Members of Billy Joel's Touring Band {PAST, & PRESENT}, & His current Rhythm Guitarist Mike Delguidice is a very good Friend of Mine, & has been for around 20 Years now! SO, check out David's Music, & You might JUST be pleasantly surprised! Cheers🎹🇦🇲🎷

Actually it sounded sloppy. The timing when they came in at the beginning with the crowd noise sounds off from what the record does and the guy drumming real fast on the bongos or whatever seem like he was struggling to keep up. This was more like a rehearsal and kind of a sloppy one. Lots of mistakes all over the place. Definitely heard some mistakes on piano during scenes from an Italian restaurant song and he tried to cover it by shifting the way he plays it after the mistake happened almost like I meant to do that but he didn't. Don't get me wrong I'm a huge Billy Joel fan and it's kind of frustrating he didn't do the full versions of a lot of the songs on here but as he said they were looking at it more like a rehearsal because they were about to prepare to go tour again than anything. You can tell it sounded like a rehearsal too. There were a lot of small mistakes I noticed. One song the bass player started off incorrectly as well and you literally hear Billy Joel say B flat as if he's reminding the guy how to play it correctly. I'm happy to hear any Billy Joel. He's one of the best singer-songwriters of all time and I'm a big fan but this wasn't exactly the best performance.

Okay this is an absolutely perfect example as to why Artists don’t need press conferences. Do either something like this, do a live stream like Toto or do a small venue and not a greatest hits show. I have been to several shows of Billy’s where he’s done a much more stripped down performance where it wasn’t all the crazy lights and video and he’s great
