Director Tom Ladshaw and Curator/Director Lisa Sweasy share stories about the Jules Vernon figures, some of the earliest figures in the collection arriving in 1940. They are unique for several reasons, one of which is that they are all attached to a bench. None of them have traditional headsticks and seem to be made by different figure makers. In addition, Vernon lost his eyesight as an adult but kept it a secret from the audience and with the help of his wife, Minnie, continued to perform. This is one of the few acts for which Vent Haven has the full script in its archives.
