I cried periodically throughout the night when I saw the show live in Chicago, and now I'm tearing up again reliving it and hearing about how it all came together. Thank you so much for posting this! If a DVD comes out of this show, I will buy it immediately. But also, if the show comes to Chicago again next year, I'm definitely going again.

So great to hear more about this! I loved the conversation about the double casting because my kids got so excited that Janaya was Della and Belle (and the names nearly rhyme) so they're convinced Della is Belle's daughter. It's so fun to watch them make fan theories!
