That's like her second or third music video she ever did. Very early in her career. Just her, two dancers and a white wall haha but her star quality and presence shines. She's just super entertaining just being herself. 1984 i think, this was. Song still sounds hot today!

I believe this was the video that created the Wannabes... the Madonna’s look alike. The visual is so good, but the song is just perfect. That’s what makes Madonna unique. She’s beautiful, great looks, but she’s released at least 50 great pop songs. There is no one alive who’s done that.

Aye!!! Old School Madonna is a lot of fun. About the hairstyle, it wasn't common, at least in mainstream culture until Madonna came up. The word "wannabe" although used before, became a household word because girls wanted to dress and look like Madonna and news outlets started calling them Madonna wannabes. If you google it, you'll probably find video clips and pics of hundreds of girls dressed like her in line for her concerts in the 80's. Anyway, been so busy at work I've been neglecting your reactions but glad you're still going and growing buddy! Hope all is well down south, stay safe!

Christopher Ciccone her brother was her back up dancer during her first club gigs until she got her first professional tour then became her dresser and eventually the art director on The Girly Show Tour. Peace.☮️

OMG I was suggesting you react to this and here it is! Yes, the first time I ever saw Madonna was this video and I was 11 years old watching a program called night tracks and it changed me forever. I loved her choreography her outfit, everything about the song at the time was so fresh and new! And that's how her music has always been ahead of everything else. So glad you enjoyed it! Big hugs!

I feel so bad because this woman is amazing and her conceptualism and lyricism is blowing my mind.
