I LOVE Madonna so much. This was the video as a kid that completely made me a fan of her. At the time all this blue with the glamorous platined Madonna was an image so iconic and charismatic! My favorite part of the video is the "cat" Madonna crawling under the table on the direction of the dish milk, for me is the most sexy image Madonna on a videoclip, can you notice that bold and sensual crawl with the flashes on her and with the wet hair? My God Madonna, only you can be that seductive, I LOVE you so much ❤

One of the most expensive ever made and the concept is based on the film Metropolis but is so amazing in its own way to illustrate the lyrics of the song! This entire concept was then recreated for the blond ambition Tour opening and it was iconic! Loved your philosophy and interpretation, very well said. Big hugs!

This video is so amazing! It's so bad that it still isn't in HD on her KZbin channel. In 1989 this videos budget was $5 million (that in today money would be over $10 millions) and was the most expensive video ever (before the most expensive was Michael Jackson "Bad" from 1987 that costed $2 million). This video was directed by David Fincher. It was very expensive because CGI didn't exist at the time and all you see are real size scenarios that were made for the video. This video is still TOP 5 most expenvie videos ever.

This song peaked #02 in 1989 in US Hot 100 (blocked for 2 weeks by Simply Red "If You Don't Know Me By Now"). This was also the song Lady Gaga was accused to copy Madonna with her 2011 Hit "Born This Way". The bass line is identical (and so are the singing tempos) but the melody is different - the lyric content of Lady Gaga song is also about expressing yourself. This song sounds a bit dated but as always there Madonna remixes from her songs always sound less dated than most original versions.
