Sorry, but dancing On1 does not have the same sabor that Dancing On2 has. Is it so hard to learn how to dance On2? A good dancer should be able to dance on both. If you learn to dance On1, you are stuck to the On1 (or On3) timing. But if you learn to dance On2, which demands that you develop a good ear for the music, a biproduct of that learning (On2) is an automatic ability to dance On1. Dancing On2 also has more musicality, shines and syncopation that the On1 timing. Top dancers should not be posting videos On1, in my opinion, unless they want their students to be stuck in the On1 timing. There is really no need to teach how to dance On1, since learning to dance On2 INCLUDES the ability to dance On1.

Thank you for your opinion ✌🏽 Specially in Europe we start to dance salsa on1. It’s much easier to dance on1. I try to be an inspiration for non dancers. People start to study my dance videos and of course it’s much easier to copy the salsa moves when I dance on1. I also love to dance on2. But it’s the music which guides me. It’s all about the music. Regarding your comment “top dancers shouldn’t post videos on1”: Do you know Johnny Vasquez? He is the most well known salsa Dancer in the world. He is primarily dancing on1. Nevertheless, dancing is art, it’s a feeling, it’s about expression. I’m not a top dancer, I’m an artist 😅
