I was a little girl the first time I heard my mom sing this song. I followed her lead and I've been singing it ever since. Never will I be able to understand the magnitude and immensity of Christ's love for me but I do know that He loves me and you. I know He is there in the quiet stillness and in times of trouble. He will never change.
Yo era una niña pequeña la primera vez que escuche este canto. Mi mama lo canto y yo segui su ejemplo. Nunca he dejado de cantarlo. Nunca voy a poder entender la imensidad del amor de Cristo pero yo se que El me ama igual que a ti. Yo se que El esta en los momentos de silencio igual como los momentos de tempestad. Jesus nunca cambiara.

Via Dolorosa Lyrics
Down the Via Dolorosa in
Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to clear the
narrow street
But the crowd pressed into see
A man condemned to die on
Calvary.
He was bleeding from a beating -
there were stripes upon His back
And He wore a crown upon his
head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those of those of
those who cried out for his
death.
Down the Via Dolorosa called the
way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah
Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road
out of His love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa all the
way to Calvary.
Por la Via Dolorosa, triste dia en
Jerusalem
Las soldados le abrian paso a
Jesus
Mas la genta se acercaba,
Para ver al que llevaba cruz.
Por la Via Dolorosa, que es la via
dolor
Como oveja vino Cristo, Rey y
Señor
Y fue El quien quizo ir por su amor por ti
por mi
Por la Via Dolorosa al Calvario y
a morir.
The blood that would cleanse the
souls of all men
Made its way through the heart of
Jerusalem.
Down the Via Dolorosa called the
way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah,
Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road
out of his love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the
way to Calvary
