Via Ferrata Chaeligang - Roaring Waterfall at Engstligenalp

The Engstligen waterfalls drop over 500 meters in height, in two stages.
The via ferrata Chaeligang was built close to the roaring spectacle in Adelboden, Switzerland.

Great video, We will be going to the waterfall, so maybe we will bring our gear too. Is there another Ferrata near Adelbodewn? And, on this VF here, do you go down the same way you came up? or is there a trail down? Vielen dank, Jim

I'm glad you like it. In the Adelboden via ferrata you can take the cable car downwards or walk another path. And yes, there is another via ferrata a few villages away, in Kandersteg. There we have the Allmenalp via ferrata, but the difficulty level is quite a bit higher. Have fun 🙂

You don't use a shock absorber on the ferrata set?

Well noticed 😉, I actually do. Mine is built in to the climbing harness. I don't find it ideal, as with a zipline I'm always afraid it could release...
